Terms of Service

Who this agreement is with

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Gaby Kaminsky, operating as Startupism ("Startupism," "we," "us"), regarding your use of the Startupism website (startupism.co) and the Startupism course program ("the Program").

What we offer

Startupism is a 6-week online program covering entrepreneurship and startup idea validation, delivered as short daily video lessons, weekly written summaries, and hands-on exercises with feedback. The Program is delivered through third-party platforms (currently Podia for content hosting); access is granted after payment is confirmed.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase or enroll in the Program.

Payment & billing

Pricing is displayed on the Startupism website at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), acting as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Paddle handles payment collection, applicable taxes, and billing on our behalf; by purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's own terms of use, presented at checkout.

Where an installment plan is offered, you authorize Paddle to charge the agreed installments on the agreed schedule until paid in full or until the Program is cancelled under our Refund Policy.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy — see that page for full terms. In summary: if you're not satisfied after Week 1 of your cohort, you're entitled to a full refund of amounts paid so far, and cancellation of any remaining installments.

Course access & cohorts

The Program runs in weekly cohorts. Upon enrollment you receive immediate access to welcome content and community; daily lessons unlock starting the following Monday, Monday through Friday, for six weeks. We reserve the right to adjust the delivery schedule, platform, or format as the Program evolves, provided the core value of the Program (6 weeks of content, exercises, and feedback) is maintained for enrolled participants.

Intellectual property

All course content — videos, written materials, exercises, and frameworks — is owned by Startupism (or licensed to us) and provided to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share course materials without our written permission.

Your Business Ideas - no confidentiality or non-compete obligations

Exercises and questions in the Program may involve you sharing details about a business idea you're developing. By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Submitting this information does not create any confidentiality obligation on our part;

  • Startupism and Gaby Kaminsky are not restricted in any way from being involved in, developing, advising, or investing in a business that competes with your idea, whether that involvement already exists at the time you enroll or begins at any point afterward; and

  • We do not treat information shared through the Program as confidential or proprietary to you, and remain free to pursue, support, or invest in similar or competing ideas without restriction.

If you plan to share information you consider highly sensitive, do not submit it through the Program's exercises.

No guarantee of outcomes

The Program provides education, frameworks, and structured feedback to help you evaluate and develop a business idea. It does not guarantee any specific business outcome, including but not limited to funding, revenue, profitability, or business success. Decisions about your business remain your own responsibility.

Feedback & communication

Exercises you submit will be reviewed and given feedback by Startupism. Escalation to direct messaging with Gaby is available as described on the website. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe but do not guarantee specific response times.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Startupism's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Program is limited to the amount you paid for the Program. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Program after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

This Agreement shall be deemed to be a contract made under the laws of the State of Israel and for all purposes shall be construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of Israel, without giving effect to conflicts of law principles that would result in the application of the laws of another jurisdiction.
